Working to end human trafficking through education
Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery, where people are promised work and then tricked into prostitution, domestic work, farm work, factory work, or other types of forced labor. Human traffickers often use force or threats to control the victim.
In 2020, the internet was reported as the top recruitment location for all forms of human trafficking.
Why Project Free?
Project Free is working to end human trafficking in the United States. Project Free helps bridge a gap in knowledge and break the stigma that human trafficking only occurs overseas and in person. However, human trafficking rarely happens through kidnapping or violence. Most often, human trafficking occurs online through social media and the internet. Project Free provides in-person educational awareness training year round.

We strive for all to be involved in the work towards a world free of human trafficking. Project free aims to partner with numerous different organizations on the grounds fighting human trafficking. Our overall goal is to connect others with existing nonprofits so that they have other opportunities to serve, volunteer, or work to be fully immersed within the fight.
Make a difference!
Human trafficking is one of the most heinous crimes in the world. It is a form of modern day slavery that has been around for centuries and still persists today. It’s hard to believe that something like this still exists in today’s world, and it's happening all around us without us even realizing it.
